Chapter 6 The community square in Pampsee

During the last six weeks of the project, residents built built a 14m long and 2m high wood stack on the new community square out of stones between wood slabs. The structure is a hommage to the story of the people from the village who fled from further east at the end of World War II. The stones came from where the refugees found a haven, a place called "Müllers Höh" which no longer exists.
